Don’t you love how the airlines are charging you for everything lately? I mean really… now they are trying to charge you an extra fee for the exact same seat just because it’s a little closer to the front. Pretty soon they are going to start charging not to seat you by someone who is above average in size, or someone without wicked body odor. It’s their business model after all. Find the crappiest part of flying on the airlines, and then charge you more so you don’t have to deal with it. It’s really kind of pathetic / funny when you think about it, I mean, I can come up with something better than what they are doing, maybe they will let me be CEO of one of them for a year. That would be a good time…..but I digress.

Went up to Nashville to hang out with my buddy Jon Myers…. Singer in the band Stretta, and my old college room mate… for his 40th birthday. They were playing a gig the friday that I got there, so he invited me to play a few tunes with them. Keep in mind, seeing me play live is a lot like seeing the Loch Ness monster, so enjoy I think I went through the keys that these songs were in earlier in the day with Jon, and then learned them on the fly in front of people… Played a couple of solos.. turned out ok. I was more impressed with the quality of the recording from the JVC camcorder… it was really loud, and it didn’t distort too badly…. anyway, nothing spectacular, just a fun time playing with a good band….
